Quiz Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions relate to the Social Media Quiz hosted by Bendigo UFS from 17 October 2023 until 31 December 2023. 

Who can enter?

  1. Entrants must live in the Greater Bendigo, Victoria region.
  2. Employees, Directors and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  3. Entry into the competition means that the entrant warrants that the competitor meets the entry eligibility requirements and accepts the terms and conditions.
  4. Entries from locked social media profiles/accounts are disqualified from eligibility when eligibility criteria, such as location, address, is not accessible.
  5. Business social media accounts are not eligible.

Conditions of entry

  1. The winning entry is the first correct answer posted beneath the Quiz Question Facebook Post on the Bendigo UFS Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/bendigoufs/). Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/bendigoufs/) users will be directed to Facebook to post their entry. No other vehicles of entry will be accepted, apart from posting on the Facebook page.
  2. An eligible entrant will then be drawn at random at the specified time included in the quiz post.
  3. An entrant who wins a prize is, thereafter, not eligible for any future Quiz Questions.
  4. The winning entrant will be advised within 24 hours by telephone, direct messaging or email for confirmation of acceptance of the prize and to arrange a day and time to collect their prize. Identification may be required upon collection from Bendigo UFS.
  5. Prize vouchers are not transferrable and not redeemable for cash. Expenditure of vouchers may be subject to conditions imposed by the supplier.

Personal information

Personal details obtained for the purpose of mailing the prize are collected in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles applicable to all Bendigo UFS collection of client data. Personal information collected will not be used for any other purpose than mailing the prize to the client.

 

Disqualification

Bendigo UFS reserves the right to disqualify entrants or entries where there is reasonable suspicion of improper or unlawful conduct, including but not limited 1): infringement of a third party’s intellectual property rights; a breach of the competition terms and conditions.
